Custom Home Building Process

Initial Consultation

The journey begins with an initial meeting where we discuss your vision, needs, and budget. This is where you share your ideas and any specific features you want in your custom home. We will also review the lot you have chosen or help you find the perfect location.

Design and Planning

Once we understand your vision, our design team works with you to create a custom floor plan. We’ll guide you through choosing architectural styles, layouts, and key features. The phase includes:

  • Site Analysis: Evaluating the land to determine the best orientation and placement for your home.

  • Conceptual Design: Developing initial sketches and floor plans.

  • Architectural Design: Finalizing detailed floor plans

Permits and Approval

Before construction begins, we handle all necessary permits and approvals. This includes obtaining building permits, zoning approvals, and any other legal requirements. Our team ensures that everything is in order so that construction can proceed smoothly.

Budgeting and Financing

Pre-Construction Meeting

Before breaking ground, we hold a pre-construction meeting to go over the timeline, expectations, and any final details. This is also an opportunity to meet your project manager, who will be your point of contact throughout the build.

Site Preparation and Foundation

Construction begins with preparing the site, which involves clearing the land, leveling the ground, and setting up utilities, Once the site is ready, we pour the foundation, which serves as the base of your home.

Framing

With the foundation in place, framing begins. This is when the skeleton of your home takes shape, including walls, roof trusses, and floors. During this phase, you’ll start to see your home’s layout and structure come to life.

Rough-Ins

Next, we move to the “rough-in” stage, where essential systems like plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC, and any other utilities are installed. These systems are critical for your home’s functionality and comfort.

Exterior Finishes

Once the rough-ins are complete, we focus on the exterior of your home. This includes installing windows, doors, siding, and roofing. The exterior finishes not only enhance your home’s curb appeal, but also protect it from elements.

We then invite you for a walkthrough of your new home to ensure it meets your expectations. This is a chance to review everything and request final adjustments.
